A Letter from Nicole

Hi, I’m Nicole, the founder of BONICA.

My journey into perfumery, candle making, and aromatherapy began in 2020. A year later, I launched BONICA with a simple but meaningful goal: to create scents that bring calm, beauty, and emotional connection into everyday life. I’m always inspired by people and by nature, and I love turning that inspiration into something you can actually hold, light, or spray.

Before this, I worked in the nonprofit world. After wrapping up a major project, I was emotionally and physically drained. I knew I needed a change. That May, I took a solo trip to Paris, not with a plan, but with a need to slow down. The streets were lined with flowers, and somewhere between wandering and resting, I felt at peace again. That quiet moment stayed with me.

Even now, the scent of jasmine or rose brings me right back to that feeling — calm, comforted, present. That’s when I realized: scent isn’t just fragrance. It’s memory. It’s emotion. It’s a way back to yourself.

That’s what BONICA is about. Not just products, but experiences. Not just aroma, but feeling. My hope is that BONICA becomes part of your daily rituals — your quiet corners, your reset moments, your sense of home.
